Patty (Swiney) Brewster

A Graveside funeral service for Patty Swiney Brewster, 77, of Williston, SC, will be held at two o’clock p.m., Monday, September 9, 2019 at Southlawn Cemetery, 4524 Whiskey Rd., Aiken, SC 29803 with the Reverend Coles Capps officiating. The family will receive friends from twelve o’clock noon until 1:15 p.m. on Monday at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. Mrs. Patty passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019.

Born in Gary, WV, she was a daughter of the late Adron Swiney and Lula Miller Swiney and was married for 57 years to the late Jerry Alvin Brewster. She was a retired nurse and was a member of the Blackville Church of God. She enjoyed cooking, camping and loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include a daughter April (Greg) Thompson of Williston; a son, Jerry (Tammy) Brewster, Jr. of Hephzibah, GA; grandchildren, Amy Jo Thompson, Jody Lee Thompson, Cory Allen Thompson, Jamie Lyn Brewster, Paige Rose Brewster, Eli Johkan Brewster and a great grandson Kaiden James Thorpe.

In addition to her husband, Jerry, she was preceded in death by a sister Ada Swiney and a brother Willie Swiney.
