Mary Louise (Vondenberger) Wallace

Funeral services for Mary Louise Vondenberger Cole Wallace, 83, of Lexington, SC will be held at two o’clock p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2019 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with burial in the Barnwell Memory Gardens on Reynolds Road. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 200 Center Point Circle Suite 100, Columbia, S.C. 29210. Mrs. Wallace passed on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.

Born in Cincinnati, OH, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Vondenberger and Amelia Choka Vondenberger Ball. She was first married to the late John Harold Cole, Jr. and was the widow of Rickey Wayne Wallace. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Village at Southlake.

Survivors include her daughters Deborah C. (Mark) Williamson of Columbia, Diana C. Hutson of Aiken; a son John H. (Jeanette) Cole, III of Ephrata, WA; sister Patricia Berg of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren Lynne C. (Mark) Villarosa, Barbara Wise (David) Stewart, David (Courtney) Wise, III, Fabian Gavin, Sabrina Gavin, Kristina Hutson, Nicklaus (Lindsey) Owens, Heather (Don) Black-Valverde, Tara (Brad) Burdyshaw, Ryan Black, Jason (Audra) Cole and a host of great grandchildren; sister-in-law Susan W. (Gary) Anderson; a family friend Hattie Glover and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter JoAnne Wise Cole Bernacchi and a son James Cole.
