Marvin Williams

Funeral services for Marvin Williams, 78, of Williston, SC formerly of North Augusta, SC, will be held two o’clock p.m., Sunday, December 8, 2019 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston with the Pastor Rickey Creel officiating; burial will be in the Williston Cemetery with military honors accorded. The family will receive friends from five to seven p.m., Saturday, December 7^th at the funeral home. Marvin passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019.

Born in Augusta, GA, he was the son of the late Frank Williams and Lula Mae Eidson Williams. He was a member of Belvedere Masonic Lodge # 388, the local Plumbers and Pipefitters Union # 150 and retired from SRS as a pipefitter. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife Susan Grubbs Williams of the home; his daughters Kimberly (Ernie) Spires, April (Steve) Boyette all of Belvedere, Roxie Cook of Williston, Deborah Carroll of Blackville; a son Troy (Stacie) Williams of McCormick; 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter Angela Grubbs and a granddaughter Alicia Marie Dyches.
