Lizzie Marie (Chavis) Mitchell

Funeral services for Lizzie Marie Chavis Mitchell, 51, of Blackville, SC will be held eleven a.m, Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Willow Swamp Baptist Church, Norway, SC; burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from six to eight p.m., Friday, October 12^th at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. Lizzie passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018.

Born in Charleston, SC, she was a daughter of the late Allen Chavis and Frances Timkey Chavis and was married to the late Stevie Mitchell for 37 years. She was a member of New Testament Baptist Church. Lizzie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing and picking wild flowers.

Survivors include her daughter Jennifer Marie (Allen) Hiott of Denmark; sons Stevie William (Dayna) Mitchell, Jr. Wesley William (Amy) Mitchell all of Blackville; grandchildren Alayna Mitchell, Stevie William Mitchell, III, Breanna Mitchell, Brooke Mitchell, Wesley Mitchell, Jr., Alex Grubbs; sisters Sheryl (Jim) Borgel, Cindy Sheeby, Lilly (James) Prince; brothers Pete (Sharon) Frickling, Timothy (Cindy) Drum; a special friend Angela McCall and her special fluffy cat Simba.

She was preceded in death by a sister Vickie Harmon, brothers Tim and Jim Frickling and John Haines.
