Kimberly Diane (Hawkes) Smith

Funeral services for Kimberly Diane Hawkes Smith, 41, of Concord, NC, formerly of Aiken, SC will be held at eleven a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2019 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Tim Bush officiating; burial will follow in the Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery by the airport. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Kimberly passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019.

Born in Salem, VA, she was the daughter of Allen Moore Hawkes and Jackie Bridgmon Hawkes. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Kimberly previously worked at Hamrick’s in North Augusta and loved spending time at the beach.

In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband James Carlos “Chuck” Smith, IV of the home; brother Scott Allen Hawkes of Forrest Grove, OR; mother-in-law Ammie (Howard) Jordan; father-in-law Jim (Lise) Smith, III; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and her fur-baby Tigger.
