Jerry Brewster, Sr.

A Graveside funeral service for Jerry Alvin Brewster, Sr., 77, of Williston, SC, will be held at two o’clock p.m., Monday, May 13, 2019 at Southlawn Cemetery, 4524 Whiskey Rd., Aiken, SC 29803 with the Reverend Coles Capps officiating. The family will receive friends from twelve o’clock noon until 1:15 p.m. on Monday at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, SC. Mr. Jerry passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019.

Born in Horsepen, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Frank Brewster and Nelly Freeman Brewster. He was a coal miner and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. He enjoyed coon hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Patty Swiney Brewster of the home; a daughter April (Greg) Thompson of Williston; a son, Jerry (Tammy) Brewster, Jr. of Hephzibah, GA; grandchildren, Amy Jo Thompson, Jody Lee Thompson, Cory Allen Thompson, Jamie Lyn Brewster, Paige Rose Brewster, Eli Johkan Brewster and a great grandson Kaiden James Thorpe.
