Isaac Starke, Sr.

Funeral services for Isaac Laird Starke, Sr., 52, of Aiken, SC will be held three o’clock p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2019 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Isaac passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019.

Born in Richmond, VA, he was a son of the late Willie Leonard Starke, Jr. and Irene Laverne Hatch Starke. He previously worked in the heating and cooling industry having worked for Williston Metal Works and previously owned and operated Highview Heating & Air. He earned his degree in HVAC from Aiken Technical College and was a certified horticulturist.

Survivors include his daughter Hannah Starke of Aiken; sons Isaac (Kimberly) Starke, Jr. of Williston, Joshua Starke, Daniel Starke, Miciah Starke all of Aiken, SC; sisters Karrene (Greg) Hindman of Williston, Leah (Steve) Alsept of Windsor, Ruth (Nolan) Woodfin of Powhatan, VA; brothers Willie Leonard (Denise) Starke, III of Goochland, VA, Conrad Lenny (Debbie) Starke of Beech Island, John (Susan) Starke of Lawrenceville, VA; grandchildren, Isaac Starke, III, Gabriel Starke and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister Sarah Starke.
