Catherine Scott Obituary

Mary Catherine “Cathy” Putnam Scott, 63, of Barnwell, SC passed away at home Monday, March 11, 2019. No formal services are planned at this time.

Cathy was a daughter of the late Clyde George Putnam, Jr and Sedalia Mary Warren Putnam. Cathy was a graduate of Jefferson Davis Academy and attended Winthrop College. She worked as a real estate agent for Southern Realty in Barnwell and was a member of the Blackville First Baptist Church. She loved to travel and enjoyed working in her yard.

Survivors include her sister Jayne Putnam Sparks; brothers William Eric Putnam both of Blackville, Clyde G. (Vickie) Putnam, III of FL; nephews and nieces Phillip (April) Sparks, Jonathan, Amanda, Chase, McKensey Putnam; great nieces Autumn and Bailey Sparks.
