A Graveside funeral service for Ben Tillman “B.T.” Williams, 65, of Springfield, SC will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Hi Cotton Lane, Springfield, SC with the Reverends Adam Hensley and Timmy Barr officiating. The family has asked that memorials be made to Folk Funeral Home, P.O. Box 367, Williston, SC 29853. B.T. passed away at home on Wednesday, July 10, 2019.

Born in Orangeburg County, SC he was a son of Dessie Rea Brown Williams and the late Thomas Norman Williams. B.T. worked in construction and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to his Mother survivors include a nephew, Marty Preston Williams of North; his aunts, Eloise Beaty, Jetter Gleaton, Essie Salley and Nellie Rae (Robert) Romanstine; special friends, Emily Black and Michelle Antley.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Marty William Williams; paternal grandparents, Odis and Ethel Williams and his maternal grandparents, Rhett and Nellie Brown.
