Albert David Sanders

A Memorial Service for Albert David “Sandy” Sanders, 81, of Aiken, SC will be held at ten a.m., Friday, April 19, 2019 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC, with the Reverend Tom Baker officiating. Sandy passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.

Born in Decatur County, IN, he was a son of the late Charleston Chesley Sanders, Sr. and Callie May Pendleton Sanders. He was a retired U. S. Navy Veteran who had a great love for his country. Sandy treasured the time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren; he also enjoyed tinkering around the house and loved his cat, Holly.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Herald Sanders of the home; daughters, Christina (Michael) Miller of Savannah, GA, Cheri Hilke of Signal Mountain, TN; sons Dylan Sanders of Nashville, TN, John Sanders of Cleveland, TN, Chuck (Grace) Sanders of Dexter, MI, Scott Everroad of Aiken, SC; grandchildren, Brendon, Melinda, Mitchell, Scott and his wife Aleisha, Tristan, John Jr., Katelynn, Remington, Ysabella and Danielle “Dan-Jay”.

He was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Sanders; a son-in-law, Mervin Hilke, granddaughter, Ginny Moss and his brothers and sisters.
